宿の主人のサルバットーレさんはフレンドリーで親切でした。 遺跡の地図も貰えます。 場所は遺跡から近く、また、部屋もキレイです。 敢えて不満点を探せば、私の部屋はWi-Fiが繋がりにくかったです。部屋によるかもしれません。 しかし総合的には、大満足です！お勧めできる宿です。

Salvatore and his wife made every effort to make sure we had a wonderful tour of Pompeii with our 12 year old daughter. It truly was an 8 minute walk to the archeological dig site. Salvatore restaurant recommendations were perfect on all counts!

B&b Dolcevita is a fabulous option for visiting Pompei. It is very central and next to the train station. The owner couldn't have been nicer and more willing to help us with every aspect of our trip. He helped arrange transportation and gave advice on many towns in the area. The breakfast is simple but you have the option to have it delivered to your room or to eat in the garden. Free wi-fi throughout the b&b was also a nice touch. Great value for money and couldn't have been made more welcome!

The owner was wonderful. Very helpful and made us a lovely breakfast. It was a very good price for being very close to the ruins. The parking was only 5 Euro poer day and around the corner.

The listing did not give the complete address and we could not find it on the GPS! It only said. Via A. Rossi, not the full name of the street! The A. is the main identifier! Please be sure to include this for the next people.

Very friendly owner, his Italian English was very humourous but got the message across. B and B is only a few minute walk from ruins of Pompeii. Rooms are comortable.

The clean and quaint B&B Dolcevita allowed us to escape the busy streets of Pompeii and have a comfortable rest before and after site-seeing. Salvatore's friendly welcome and delicious breakfast made our stay wonderful. We appreciated the nice beds, fresh squeezed juice and convenient location.

Excellent location, very close to the sea and to the excavations. Lovely and quiet place around a big swimming pool. Elaborate breakfast. Great value for what we payed (84 euro per night for two adults and 3 children).

The care taken by the owners and their willingness to help, as well as allow us to be how we wanted, was exceptional. It made a very relaxed, 'home from home', long weekend. We were 3 generations visiting Pompeii: my parents in their 80s, plus my own family of 5 with children aged 18, 14 and 6. Everyone had different needs and the best accolade is that my parents, with their needs for comfortable bedding, late night warm drinks, etc., high levels of heating, etc. were all easily accommodated. The beds were very comfortable by the way. The B&B was a stone's throw from Pompeii Amphitheatre entrance, and even closer to the Circumvesuviana trainline to Herculaneum. This was one of the main purposes of choosing Dolcevita because my parents can't walk very far. There is an excellent pizzeria (Margherita) by the train station too. The owners claimed it was better than the famous Michele in Naples. My husband and son tested this claim and judged it true. Breakfast was very generous (but see comment below) and the owners made coffee in four different ways as requested by us individually!! There were oranges fresh from the trees in March.

The only problem is that two of the rooms are not very attractive. Two have little natural light. Then again, the curtains were so transparent that we were woken too early in the morning. There wasn't anywhere to sit comfortably. Breakfast is very generous but contains mostly sweet things like biscuits and croissants. Bread and fruit would be a welcome additional option. We had a friendly discussion about this with the owner.

B&B Dolcevita was exactly what we were expecting, plus a little! A comfortable, but not over the top room, with a soft bed and warm heater. Breakfast was sensational, served right in the room. The proprietor (I forget his name...) was welcoming and hospitable, making sure we had everything we needed. Just a 10 minute walk to the Pompeii ruins. Highly recommended.

Fantastico! Salvatore, the hotelier, makes the b and b what it is. His personality is kind and incredibly helpful and he is passionate about what he is doing. All of this makes a difference. He gets up every morning to squeeze fresh orange juice for his guests which is beautifully served along with a croissant (or two). The rooms are large and comfortable with individual climate control and family rooms are available. Each room has a different color scheme and theme. Currently, there is no true lobby or great room but, there is a roof where people can lay in the sun in season and the area will be developed further in the future. Dolce Vita is a fabulous value and provides location, large rooms and bathrooms, cleanliness and friendliness. The hotelier will ensure you are comfortable and actually walked me over to the Pompeii ruins the night I checked in so that I would know where I was going the next day. Hospitality...

• The continental breakfast was lovely but, I prefer a full breakfast. • a larger shower stall with a more secure enclosure other than just a curtain would be nice to better contain the water though the bathroom itself was very large and extremely clean • The room is located on a busy street. I didn't really notice the traffic, however until 8:30am. If you want to see the ruins, you need to be up by that time anyway so it's a moot point. • The entrance is small with no room for furniture and access to the rooms is via a flight of stairs but, the hotelier graciously carried my bag up the stairs for me.

It was the best place was stayed at for our entire trip. There was an abundance of electrical outlets. The room was spotless, the breakfast was homemade and good. It was a very short walk to the train station and to the ruins.

It was cash only and the WiFi signal could have been better.

A very clean room and bathroom. The host was very nice and goes that extra mile for you. Good breakfast and the location was ideal for visiting the Roman city of Pompeii.

Salvatore went out of his way to make us comfortable and welcome. He even came to pick us up when we got off at the wrong station, and gave us fresh cold watermelon on arrival at the b&b. We had a cot for our toddler, and it was beautifully made up for her with blankets and sheets-she loved the duck motif! Room was clean and comfortable, with blockout shutters which were great to keep the heat out. Aircon was lovely to come home to. Breakfast was freshly baked croissants and a custard pastry, all lovely! Would recommend to anyone visiting Pompei, very short walk from Pompei station and the ruins.
